Many of the professional bloggers are creating many niche blogs or niche websites on different niche topics. Many topics that they have little knowledge or no knowledge of. Yet, as long as there's a market for that niche, these bloggers have gone ahead and created these new content websites via article outsourcing for content or investigative journalism methods.
One primary advantage of creating many niche content websites is that you're opening yourself up to more revenue streams by increase your audience. Why make money with one blog when you can make many for more money? A secondary advantage is that you're not putting all your eggs in one basket. Similar to conventional wisdom in financial investing which is to diversify your stock portfolio.
The disadvantage of running many blogs or websites is that you can lose specialization in one particular site. More specifically, if you put less effort into one website, there'll be less creativity and uniqueness on content.
Of course, you need one blog or website experience first to even consider the daunting task of creating many. Plan and diversify in different niche blogs, and you can watch your ad-revenue checks increase exponentially.
Random Fact: Currently, I'm on my second website at www.fashiondoordie.com. My goal the end of the year is to have at least ten websites up and running.
