A "good" blogger wouldn't submit his or her own content to digg.

Why wouldn't you to submit your own content to Digg?

It's all about increasing the traffic!

I don't agree with everything you said there. Not all bloggers are out to make money. If I don't run adds does that make me a bad blogger? Geez I'm going right to hell now. Oh and submitting your own content to digg is frowned upon.

Rose, this is a make money website. The article was meant for bloggers who run ads. Note everybody agrees with someone. That's the beauty of blogs it can be biased-based and personable. That's what makes it interesting, and seperates it from newspaper articles.

"Are you a bad blogger? Geez, I'm going to hell right now."
My response is: Only if you don't meet your own goals for blogging.

If you have insightful information to share to Digg or other sites, I see no problem. As long as you don't spam every blog, it's all good
